Indian Women’s cricket team smashed 194/4 and restricted West Indies to 146/7.
The Indian women’s cricket team defeated West Indies by 49 runs in the T20I match of the first game of the three-match T20 2024 series at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Sunday(15 December 2024).
Indian Women’s team scored 195/4 total after losing the toss. Jemimah Rodrigues (73 off 35) and Smriti Mandhana (54 off 33) are top-scored for the Indian cricket team.
West Indian batters Deandra Dottin (52 off 28) and Qiana Joseph (49 off 33) gave the visitors some hope but the Indian bowlers ensured that the hosts defended the huge total comfortably.
In return, West Indies could score only 146 runs and lost seven wickets. Deandra Dottin (52 of 28) and Kiana Joseph (49 of 33) played good innings for West Indies, but their team could not win.
